Harlekarni

Oil and spray paint on wood

Live painted at Karnival of the Arts 2024, Harlekarni embodies the energy of performance and immediacy. A central figure, adorned with harlequin patterns and framed by bold, contrasting fields of color, holds two opposing orbs—suggesting choice, duality, and the tension between instinct and consequence.

Layered textures, spray paint, and spontaneous mark-making capture the raw, electric atmosphere of the live setting, where intuition leads and transformation unfolds in real time.

Heart Flow

Oil and spray paint on wood

26” × 26”

Live painted at Karnival of the Arts East 2025.

Created through movement, energy, and spontaneity, Heart Flow captures the rhythm between intuition and expression. Begun live at Karnival of the Arts and later completed in the studio, the piece carries the layered pulse of performance energy balanced with intentional refinement.

Floating forms and extended limbs suggest emotional equilibrium in motion—holding both lightness and weight, structure and freedom. Drips, splatters, and atmospheric textures echo the natural movement of feeling, reminding us that creativity, like the heart, flows best when it is trusted.

Fluorescent

Acrylic fluorescent paint on wood

8’ × 8’

Live painted at Higher Education (MA) and Froggy Daze (NY), Fluorescent pulses with layered energy and transformation. A luminous figure engages with a growing plant form, suggesting connection between body and nature.

Drips, bold color, and fluid lines capture the immediacy of the live process, preserving the rhythm of movement and shared creative space.

Living in My Galaxy

Oil and spray paint on wood

25 × 37 inches · 2024

Living in My Galaxy explores identity within its own emotional atmosphere. A suspended figure holds delicate balloons—symbols of fleeting thoughts and shifting states of self.

Harlequin-inspired forms and layered spray with brushwork create a cosmic surface where background becomes atmosphere. Painted live at StrangeCreek, the piece captures both immediacy and the sense of a personal universe in motion.

Foxy Flamingo

Oil and spray paint on canvas

16” × 20”

Born from the energy of live music, Foxy Flamingo began during TroutStock Music Festival as Fox and The Flamingos performed, then evolved in the studio.

Layered color and fluid textures echo the movement of sound through emotion, while the expressive figure balances softness with confidence—capturing the playful intersection of performance and intuitive creation.
